Dive Courses

Open Water Diver
If you’ve always wanted to learn how to scuba dive and wondered how.. discover new adventures...or simply see the wondrous world beneath the waves..well, this is where it starts. The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba course, and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle.
Advanced Open Water Diver
They’re what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. And no, you don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course.
The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI instructor. This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.
Rescue Diver
“Challenging” and “rewarding” best describe the PADI Rescue Diver course. Building upon what you’ve already learned, this course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur. The fun part about this course is rising to challenges and mastering them. Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, and at the end, say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken.

Emergency First Response
The Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Emergency First Response Secondary Care (First Aid) courses teach people how to provide emergency care for someone in need. These courses make learning easy by providing a nonstressful environment in which participants practice and apply emergency care skills. The courses are designed to help participants remember appropriate emergency care procedures during times of need.

Enriched Air Diver Specialty
The PADI Enriched Air Diver or Nitrox course is one of PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course, and it’s easy to see why. Scuba diving with enriched air gives you more no decompression dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives!

You can typically stay down longer and get back in the water sooner.

Wreck Diver Specialty
Diving on wrecks appeals to most divers, though for many different reasons. You may find yourself attracted to the challenge of exploring the wreck, or a fascination with its historical nature. Underwater photographers love wrecks for their picture potential, while those interested in nature like the fact that wrecks quickly become artificial reefs. In these, you’ll find wreck sites range from those open to novice to those only accessible by the most experienced technical divers.

Please call +60 3 2287 2822 for more details.
Deep Diver Specialty
Deep diving opens the door to many new exciting dive sites like deeper wrecks, reefs and walls. As a rule, divers tend to be adventurous people, and deep diving – whether to visit a wreck or take photos – can certainly be called adventurous. It’s only natural that like most divers, you have some interest in deep diving.

The fun part about this course is the opportunity to explore the deep. It’s exhilarating!

Night Diver Specialty
As the sun sets, you don your dive gear, slip on your scuba mask, bite down on your dive regulator and you step off the boat – into the underwater night.

Introduce yourself to the whole new cast of creatures that comes out after the sun goes down. See your favorite dive sites from a whole new perspective at night.

Dive Gear

Boots, Hoods & Gloves
Diving Boots: Wet suit booties provide warmth, protect your feet whilst walking and allow you to obtain a proper fit when using open-heel adjustable fins.
Diving Hoods: In cooler water a significant amount of body heat can be lost from the head if insulation – such as a hood – is not used.
Diving Gloves: The primary purpose of wearing diving gloves is to reduce thermal loss through the hands, thus maintaining circulation and dexterity for various tasks during the dive.
Wetsuits
Wetsuits are worn whilst scuba diving for two reasons – to reduce heat loss and to protect the skin from cuts and stings.

Given that water conducts heat away from your body about 20 times faster than air, it is possible to feel cold even when diving in tropical waters (particularly on longer or repetitive dives). Even when thermal protection is not required, abrasion protection probably is.
Fins
Fins are your primary means of underwater propulsion consisting of a large blade to push against the water. The two main categories available are open-heel adjustable fins (to be worn with booties) and full-foot fins.

Key features to look out for when considering your purchase include: strap adjustment & quick release, ribs & channels (to stabilise the fin and enhance kick efficiency) and vents (to reduce kick resistance and wasted energy).
Snorkels
Snorkels allow you to swim easily at the surface without using air from your tank and additionally conserve energy by enabling the head to remain in the water. They are a key piece of safety equipment in choppy conditions and when there is a possibility of surfacing some distance from the boat. Snorkels are relatively simple in design and most have been optimized to reduce the inflow of water whilst minimizing dead air space and breathing resistance.
Masks
Masks create an airspace which allows the eyes to focus for clear vision underwater. The mask is one of the first pieces of equipment that most divers invest in since it is so easy to pack on any trip.

A number of styles are available to fit a wide variety of face shapes. It is crucial to try on a few different mask styles to see what works best for your face shape. The entire mask edge should fit in contact with the face and it should be possible to hold the mask on using an inhalation through the nose alone.
Instruments
Key considerations when selecting instrumentation include the choice between analogue or digital mechanisms, wrist or console mounting and the option of integrated or separate instruments. The range on the left are Analogue instruments. Electronic instrumentation can be found under the Dive Computer category.
Regulators
Scuba regulators deliver air from your tank for breathing at a pressure equal to the ambient pressure. In recreational diving, regulators are almost exclusively of a two-stage, single hose design. Your regulator forms one of the mainstays of your diving kit, representing a considerable equipment investment that can serve you well for many years, if well maintained. It goes without saying that proven designs from reputable manufacturers have been developed with safety in mind.
Alternate Air Source
It is standard practice in recreational diving to carry an alternate air source for handling out-of-air emergencies. The most widely accepted configuration is the extra second stage (sometimes called an ‘octopus’), for sharing with another diver. Such an alternate air source should be purchased in conjunction with your regulator to provide a complete and compatible set up. To aid easy identification in an emergency the alternate air source should be brightly colored(conventionally yellow).
B.C. Devices
The Buoyancy Control Device (BCD) or Buoyancy Compensator (BC) is a core piece of scuba diving equipment. It allows you to float comfortably at the surface, make adjustments to your buoyancy whilst underwater and connect the major components of your kit together in one functioning unit. When selecting a BCD the lift capacity should be considered alongside the type of diving you will be doing. Attaining a good fit is of course also very important.
